Description:
The Wild Pine Cup — In a Bag
Purely Wild Pine Needle Tea Bags deliver the same hand-harvested wild Canadian pine as our loose-leaf pouch — now pre-portioned into unbleached natural-fiber tea bags for zero-mess daily brewing. This is the authentic continuation of Dr. Cass Ingram's life work in its most convenient form.
A licensed physician (DO), author of more than 30 books, and one of the earliest researchers to bring wild northern botanicals to Western attention, Dr. Ingram spent 40+ years championing a single principle: the living, whole plant gathered from remote, wild terrain is the true medicine. Purely Wild honors that philosophy in every product we make — loose or bagged.
Wild-Harvested from the Canadian Boreal Forest
The needles in every bag are hand-cut from pristine old-growth evergreen stands in the Canadian wilderness. These are mature, wild conifers rooted in cold, mineral-rich soil, fed by snow and forest rain, exposed to clean northern air and bright boreal light.
Unsprayed. Untreated. Uncultivated. The exact same wild harvest as our 3.5 oz loose-leaf pouch — just pre-portioned for convenience.
Unbleached. No Plastic. No Staples.
Most tea bags on the market contain plastic mesh or plastic-sealant glue. Ours don't. Our bags are natural unbleached fiber, heat-sealed without plastic, without staples, without nylon mesh. The whole bag is compostable.
For a brand built on wild purity, anything less didn't make sense.
A Traditional Northern Cup
Pine needle tea is aromatic, lightly resinous, warming, and surprisingly refreshing — a traditional wilderness tea enjoyed for centuries by Indigenous peoples and boreal cultures. Wild pine needle naturally contains shikimic acid, vitamin C, polyphenols, flavonoids, and the full aromatic terpene profile of the wild evergreen.*
Purely Wild does not blend in other herbs. We do not add flavorings. We do not standardize to a single compound. The bag contains only wild-harvested Canadian pine — dried, cut, and portioned.
Traditional Use
For centuries, northern peoples brewed pine needle tea as a daily staple — to support the body's natural immune defenses, respiratory wellness, and antioxidant status through long winters.*
